During their three-decade tenure, the Vicksburg Quartet recorded their first two albums at the Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church before what would be followed by many years of recording at different studios.

From the Vicksburgs not only had three school teachers in the group, but three high school chorus directors: Steve, Jake and Dick Bower.
